St Petersburg Gala Dinner

St. Petersburg – Russia’s window to Europe, it’s second largest city and the country’s vibrant cultural heart.

The event was a high-end incentive celebrating our client’s top achievers, with the final dinner of the program in St Petersburg.

The dinner was held at The Grand Hall of the St Petersburg Philharmonic. And the theme that we had chosen was À La Russe, which translates to English as ‘The Russian Way’.

Our brief was to take our guests on a journey of Russian culture through a series of performances that would immerse them in the Russian soul.

A 46-piece orchestra opened the first performance piece of the night which embodied Imperial Russia through Opera and ballet.

After an official welcome, soloist ballet dancers from the famous Mariinsky theatre performed Tchaikovsky’s Russian Dance from the Nutcracker.

Terema – a 27-piece Russian folk orchestra accompanied by 14 folk dancers from the White Nights folk dance company – took our guests on a journey that featured Russian folk music and dancing.

As our guests finished their dining experience it was time to celebrate with the modern jazz group Big Party Band, with a Russian twist the band welcomed guests to the dance floor and kept the festivities rolling.
