Hop Lun 25th Celebration

2017 marked the 25th anniversary milestone for Hop Lun, a global manufacturing company of fashion lingerie and swimwear. To help celebrate this achievement, Veritas Events created an ultimate employee incentive experience over the Easter Long Weekend.

With over 1,100 attendees from across the globe, the event was attended by staff from all areas of the business (design, factory, HR, sales and marketing).

The scope for the programme was end-to-end event management services, including technical production. We managed events transfers, welcome gifts, business session, keynote and employee cultural production at ICC with simultaneous interpretation. To showcase the best of Sydney, our team also curated a planned day of activities, 2 themed parties and a cruise to a recovery brunch at Taronga Zoo.

Our key highlights:

Official Welcome Reception

We kicked off the incentive program with an exclusive event held at The Argyle. With a focus on creating an exciting culinary experience, the menu was a collaboration from all head chefs of the Rockpool Group which included both roving canapés and themed food stations set throughout the venue. The entertainment for the evening was an immersive digital art experience, whereby an artist would create a story of cultural images which would in turn be animated live and projected onto the Argyle courtyard walls. Keeping the visuals alive we had a Hop Lun time tunnel, didgeridoo artists and an interactive DJ Booth.

Activities

We created a wide range of activity options that would suit everyone’s interests – ensuring we had tour guides fluent in the language of the group. The selection included 125 people skydiving and 98 people bridge climbing! There was also full day trips to Blue Mountains and Hunter Valley, cruise on the Tallship, back of house Opera House Tour, Learn to Surf, Jet boating, to name a few.

Farewell Party

The pinnacle of the celebration for the weekend was the Gala Dinner. The theme was ‘Life is a Circus’, and what better way of bringing this theme to the Ivy into a living, breathing circus! We created an unforgettable performance inclusive of Pacha dancers, stilt and aerial artists, revolving DJs, light and sound show, custom branded balloon drops and glitter explosions! The venue was equipped with four live and working carnival games, endless circus props and a menu to match.

Recovery Brunch

After such a big night the sun was shining with the recovery brunch kicking off with a 1.5-hour harbour cruise around Sydney, the perfect way for all delegates to see the sights of the harbour. The brunch held on the concert lawn at Taronga Zoo, exclusively to Hop Lun. The attendees enjoyed a classic Australia BBQ with a live acoustic band and fury animal encounters.
