The Brief

VetPartners came to us to deliver their very first Combined Conference, a landmark moment for the business and a flagship event for their growing network of veterinary professionals across Australia and New Zealand.

The brief was ambitious: create a premium, high-energy conference experience that united a large and geographically dispersed community, celebrate their people, and set a new benchmark for what a VetPartners event could look like.


The Challenge
As a first-time conference of this scale, our challenge was to build an event from the ground up, coordinating complex logistics across multiple accommodation venues, a large sponsor program, and a demanding content schedule, while making the whole experience feel effortless for every attendee.

The Execution

We designed and delivered a multi-day conference experience built around three key pillars: community, celebration, and content. Confused with the companies pillars?

From the outset, the client made a deliberate choice to open the event with energy rather than formality. A team-building session launched the program, immediately bringing 450+ delegates together before a single business session began. The room was set for connection from minute one.

Across the program, we managed:
- A fully branded welcome registration area with on-demand badge printing and zero queues, setting the tone for a smooth delegate experience
- 22 individual sponsors, each with bespoke booth requirements, plus a custom-built activation for the major sponsor
- Coordination across three hotels with seamless transfers for all guests
- Two evening events, including a complete transformation of the plenary space into a Gala setting within a tight turnaround
- A packed content program spanning business sessions, keynotes and awards, all executed to schedule
- A bold stage design built to complement the VetPartners brand and anchor the room

The Outcome
Ten months after our first meeting, we delivered a Combined Conference that exceeded every expectation VetPartners had set. With over 450 attendees, the event drew such positive interest that delegates were still attempting to register on the day.

The experience was polished, high-energy, and deeply human. Every logistical complexity, from the three-hotel coordination to the Gala room flip, was absorbed behind the scenes, leaving guests free to connect, celebrate, and engage with the program.
