The Brief
We partnered with the The Drinks Association to deliver the Australian Drinks Awards 2025, creating an elegant, premium awards night at Hilton Sydney that celebrated excellence across the drinks industry.
With this event now running for over a decade, our brief was to evolve the look and feel year on year, while staying true to the established colour palette and the refined aesthetic guests have come to expect.
The challenge was striking the right balance between familiarity and freshness. Returning guests needed to recognise the event instantly, while still feeling that the experience had been elevated and thoughtfully refreshed.
Execution
We refined the event styling and on-screen content to introduce more movement, energy and visual depth across both the ballroom and pre-function spaces.
To elevate the overall experience, we delivered:
- Enhanced motion graphics, bringing greater energy and flow to the room
- Lowered illuminated table centrepieces, creating a warmer, more intimate atmosphere for guests
- A cohesive styling approach that complemented the large Avatree displays featured on stage and throughout the pre-function area
Every design decision was made to ensure consistency across all spaces, reinforcing the prestige of the awards while subtly evolving the experience for returning attendees.
Outcome
The Australian Drinks Awards 2025 delivered a polished, immersive environment that felt elegant, contemporary and true to the event’s legacy. The refreshed styling and visual approach created a memorable setting for an unforgettable night of celebration.
