MEDIA RELEASE | ROHANI DE BEGER JOINS THE TEAM AT VERITAS EVENTS – A BI WORLDWIDE COMPANY AS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
Rohani De Beger joins the team at Veritas Events – a BI WORLDWIDE company as Business Development Director following a formidable career in the hotel industry over 20 years.
Rohani most recently managed the Australian & New Zealand Regional Office for 8 years for the Las Vegas Sands integrated resorts; Marina Bay Sands Singapore (MBS), The Venetian Macao, Parisian Macao and newly opened Londoner Macao.
With MBS, a 2500 room property now only just 10 years old, Rohani became the face of the brand here in the Pacific region. She became the central contact for corporate clients, event agencies and association meeting planners during her tenure and not only grew the industry awareness of the properties but oversaw the exponential growth of the tangible events business within these integrated resorts. A valued member of the team, she was quoted by the management team as being an incredible asset to the brand, within the region.

Rohani’s career is grounded by 10 years with Hyatt Hotels. Recruited as a Corporate Trainee after university, she was promoted to management positions in the operations team across restaurants, banquets and offsite venues at Grand Hyatt Melbourne, Park Hyatt Melbourne and Hyatt Hotel Canberra. Operations evolved to sales in the Hyatt pacific regional office, closely followed by time with Marriott (then Starwood) hotels in Sydney.
Above all else, Rohani is passionate about working with high performing teams and premium brands. She values the client experiences and her relationships formed over time with peers, colleagues and clients.
While the rewards of work are a joy, Rohani does like to make time for home cooking with her son, entertaining friends & family, fitness goals and is an avid reader!
