Weird & Wonderful Hotels:Treehotel

At Veritas Event Management we are always looking out for new weird and wonderful hotels of the world. We like to think outside the box and strive to make your next incentive or overseas event a special one. Fancy spending a night asleep in the trees? Well if you visit The Treehotel, located in Harads, you can do exactly that. While the name may in fact seem like a typo, Treehotel (one word) is guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience. Each treeroom is a unique creation by Scandinavias leading architects. The modern design combined with the quiet of the forest creates an instant feeling of luxurious relaxation. The rooms vary from 15-30 square meters and they range between 4-6 meters from the ground. Treehotel is built mainly with wood, though one room has a glass facade. All of the Tree Houses are situated in pine trees. The rooms can be accessed by either a ramp or sturdy stairs. One of the rooms has an electric, retractable stepladder. In addition there is a sauna and a relaxing area room seating 12 guests comfortably. This is the first Tree Hotel in the world with a Sauna! The front elevation is very similar to that of the former Egyptian Hall in Piccadilly, designed in 1812 by P. F. Robinson. There are 3 apartments. The first floor with a narrow oval staircase to negotiate, accommodates up to 3. The second and third floors accommodate up to 4 people each in double and twin rooms.
