Different Style of Shooting

How often do you sit at an event and watch the conference videos and think they all look the same? Well youre right, they do. So how do we change this I hear you ask? A great way to change the look of any video for your next corporate event is to get your production company, like Veritas Event Management, to film your videos on a Digital SLR like the Canon 5D MK 111 or Canon 7D. These cameras are used on many TV shows and professional music videos, with the ability to shoot in low lights, they give off a great film look. For more information on how to enhance your next video project contact the Production Team at Veritas.

We all know first impressions count so why not plan a real eye-popping entrance feature at your next special event? Veritas will be able to offer you tonnes of clever ideas. A really unique one that I look forward to including for Melbourne events is called Make an Entrance which involves a living red entryway! The guests at your event walk up a beautiful coloured satin carpet, highlighted with bollards and mood lighting to discover the end of red carpet is in fact a gown worn by a stunning model! The Make an Entrance team can customise the colour of the carpet/gown to suit your corporate colours and can even include the company logo. If you would like some clever ideas for making a real Wow factor at your next corporate event or special event please give Veritas a call.

Communication is Key

Here at Veritas Event Management Sydney, we know how important communication is, not only between our team and the client but also internally. Efficient communication with the client is critical in creating flawless and unique events. Experience has taught our team that too many words can often confuse a situation and could lead to sub-Veritas standard events or incentive trips. The same applies to in house contact with our team. Clear and precise communication breeds phenomenal corporate events and this is what we thrive on here at Veritas. Communicate with us today and organise your next event with Veritas Event Management, Sydney. Contact Kieran Kennedy of Veritas on kieran.kennedy@veritas.com.au

The NBN- Part 2: Webcasts

By now I am sure you have heard Veritas talk about webcasts and all that they can do for you and your company, but I am going to take a few minutes of your time, just to let you know what the National Broadband Network is going to do for your company, your conferences and your events. Breaking it down, webcasts (sometimes called webinars) fall into two categories; Live and On-Demand. Live webcasts can be as simple as a single presenter speaking to camera with some slides that is then broadcast out to selected attendees where no matter where they are, they can dial in and attend. Taking it to the more extreme, Veritas have used webcasting technology to take a conference with 100 people in the audience and broadcast it out live. With secure login details and registration required, the client felt re-assured that their information was only going out to the right people. At the moment it is possible for many people to join a webcast almost anywhere, but it is still hard to stream it at a high enough quality in some areas of the country. With the NBN bringing broadband out to regional areas, anyone in Australia will be able to stream live webcasts at a quality that does not diminish from being there in person. This may not impact on every industry directly, but medical companies will be able to run virtual training sessions with doctors and nurses in regional areas, without worrying about bringing them out of their communities that need them. Banking may be much more dominant in capital cities, but there are still branches in regional communities with employees that need to be kept up to date on changes to policies just like everyone else. This is where the ability to stream On-Demand webcasts that have been pre recorded, either from a conference for reference later, or filmed specifically to be used as a training resource will be drastically improved when the NBN is rolled out. One of the biggest deterrents to employees sitting down and watching a webcast, is waiting for it to load and buffer. Webcasts are here now, and Veritas take an immense amount of pride in their work towards making creative and engaging webcasts, but if you want to know more about the future and what lies ahead, then give us a call and come in for a chat.
